About me
Doesn't matter right or wrong
As long as it's not stupid
Applied mathematician. The teams I work with have operational proprioception and no firefighting: my fault.
Statistics to find bottlenecks, operations research to eliminate them, coding to automate the rest.
Mathematics to rule them all.
Basics about me
Computer Science in high school: I wanted to learn how Minecraft was programmed and build my own mods.
Bachelor's in Mathematics: after a stint as a programmer, I realized coding for a living wasn't for me.
Master's in Mathematics (Mathematics and Statistics for Life and Social Sciences, Modelling and Simulation for Biomedical Applications): pure math was too abstract on its own, so I looked for a way to apply it to healthcare and actually contribute to medicine.
Self-employment: academia rewards publications, not real-world traction. Self-employment became the only way to move fast and solve real problems.
My interests
Personal Knowledge Management (PKM): making knowledge retrievable and usable over time and space. I use Obsidian, where I’ve built a vault of over 5.000 notes.
Functional bodybuilding: optimizing physical performance across strength, longevity, and mobility.
How I work
Technical translator: I translate business goals into process analysis, and into the actions needed to reach them.
Problem lover: give me problems and I will solve them. Give me a to-do list to implement, and you'll make me unhappy. More in Projects.
Uncompromising: I don't compromise on quality, ideals, or professional ethics. More in Failure résumé.
When I want to work with you
The project is a real opportunity to learn, and to apply what I've learned.
